How We get Motivated?

Motivation is not an external factor but an internal influencing factor.Parents do not motivate their sons or daughters neither the sale managers to the salepeople., people motivate themselves.Level of motivation differs between each other.

Everyone of us is motivated !!!!.

The common external factors of motivation are basically two;
1) Reward motivation and
2) Fear motivation
But both could produce temporary results as they are force outside themselves.

1) Reward motivation -
May be effective to many people but does not work all the time on everyone.It is based on a want,and once it is satisfied, it is no longer a want and no longer serves to motivate.

2) Fear motivation-

Opposite of the above.It is based on punishment - the idea of "DO or else!" .Those who could tolerate the punishment, this motivation is not effective at all.

One of the inherent problem , many of us or organization use both of them on to their people.They have been moderately effective over the years but producing optimum result. Organization and people must realise that the best motivation is not external but INTERNAL

We are always Special

Everyone has willpower. The first step is to accept its existence.
How could we build it?

1. Celebrate that the facts we have it
2. Know it and develop it. We are in charge of making it strong or letting atrophy. It is not best strengtheneed by random external circumstances. It is an inside game
3. It is always there.We have to be ready to play the inside game.... Some call it as self creation !!!!!!

Face the sun

What we look at, what we face grows in our life. What we ignore fails behind us.But if we turn and look only at shadows, they become our lives
The pessimists dont stay anti life very long when we put a revolver to their heads. All of the sudden, they can think of millions reasons to stay alive. Those million reasons are always there, down inside us, waiting to be called up.
Our pessimism is usually a false front.

THe way we choose to see the world creates the world we see.
